We will introduce on this page each month a new and special Teddy Bear of the HERMANN Collection.

Clara from the Nutcracker Suite

 
Clara HERMANN-Coburg always wants to include stories, legends, historical background or art to their bears. New in 1997 are "Clara" from the ballet the "Nutcracker Suite" of Tschaikowski. This bear is the first in the new serie of the Nutcracker-Suite-Bears.

The ballet was first shown in 1892 in St. Petersburg and is one of the most wellknown ballets in the world. It tells the story of the Christmas evening. Clara get as a present a nutcracker from  Mr. Drosselmayer, who became alive as a price in the night.
