To preserve the Tradition

For nearly 80 years the Max Hermann Teddy Bears have been stuffed in the Old Thuringian tradition, with excelsior.

Now this knowledge is in the hands of the third generation of the HERMANN family. Founder Max Hermann taught his son Rolf how to stuff bears with excelsior, Rolf handed down this knowledge to his son Martin.

The picture shows the stuffing with excelsior in the workshop of Max Hermann in the Thirties in Sonneberg.
