The HERMANN-Spielwaren GmbH is one of the oldest still existing Teddy Bear companies. The tradition goes back to the year 1913 when Max Hermann started with the first Teddy Bear in village Neufang near Sonneberg / Thuringia. The company was founded in in Sonneberg. Today the company is run by the Dr. Ursula and Martin-J. Hermann, the grandchildren of the founder. They produce nearly 400 different Teddy Bear styles, most of them in limited editions.
