Annette Rauch has been designing artist teddy bear for
HERMANN-Coburg since 1995.
She learned her profession at the famous Industrial School for Toy Design in Sonneberg. This is the same school where Hilde Hermann learned to design toys before the WW I. Annette Rauch has been a freelance teddy bear artist since 1994. She has become known for her unconventional design ideas. In the summer of the year 1994 Annette Rauch was first associated
with the Teddy Bear design by the help of HERMANN-Coburg. At the International
Toy Fair in Nuremberg in 1995 HERMANN-Coburg introduced her first Bears to
the public.
To date HERMANN-Coburg has manufactured 15 Teddy Bear items designed by Annette Rauch. They all are made in limited editions of 500 pieces.
Her Teddy Bear design "Wunibald", made by HERMANN-Coburg, was nominated for the famous TOBY© Award 1995 in the manufacturer category "Small Manufactured Bear - Undressed".
