2000 -- it's finally here, the new Millennium. With great excitement all mankind, including the HERMANN Teddy Bears from Coburg, entered into our new era. Two special bears were created to document this special event for all times. So final as this millennium change, are these bears that represent our change of the new year. For the first time in the history of the HERMANN company, two bear designs were produced, which reflect the time limited editions of the last days and first production days of the old and new millennium. The results are the "Old Twenties Replica", the last HERMANN Coburg bear of the old millennium, and "The Birth of the New Millennium", the first HERMANN Coburg bear of the new millennium. Two teddy bears, which carry the tradition of the old and the beginning of the new era within themselves and throughout the world. And which will never be made like this again.
The millennium is still young, but the faster the time goes, the more important it is it to keep tradition alive in our hearts. Exactly 80 years ago, Max Hermann, our grandfather, laid down the foundation for our company during very tough times with his own hands. We are happy and proud to run a firm, which withstood all madness and confusion of the world and accomplished world recognition as a family owned company.
Our gratitude towards our grandfather, Max Hermann, and our father, Rolf-G. Hermann, who both left us - today's generation - a wonderful inheritance. Many thanks to our friends around the world, who with their love towards our teddy bears contributed to the existence of the HERMANN Bears today. Also a special thank you to our employees, with which their knowledge and know how, keep the tradition of the production of beautiful teddy bears in our firm alive. After 80 years of history shaped through people with enthusiastic ideas and visions, the HERMANN Teddy Bears with the green logo have arrived in the 21st Century - XXI Century. We're excited for the future, which we want to shape together with you.
