Artist Michele Brown, a native Texan, began her career as a designer of
collectible bears in 1989. She uses her extensive background as a New York
fashion designer to create original hand-crafted bears, many of which are
exquisitely dressed.
Michele has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Golden Teddy Award in 1996, and was invited to show her creations at the 1997 Disney World Teddy Bear and Doll Convention. This artist brings a fresh and original approach to bear design and is recognized as a rising talent in the bear industry. Michele debuts with HERMANN-Spielwaren GmbH and Columbus International in 1998 with "Father Christmas". |
